The Annour Centre in Mulhouse (68) (France) is looking for a buyer. A call for tender for the property assets in which the centre is housed has been issued by its court-appointed receiver, the firm of AJUP, represented by Maître Eric-Etienne Martin, with a deadline for offers set at Monday July 1st, 2024.
The Annour Centre, which is owned by SCI Confluence, was imagined by the group AMAL (Association de Musulmans d’Alsace) who wished to “build a new place of worship, a religious and cultural hub that would be the pride of Muslims and the people of Mulhouse”. The centre is recent, having been opened in 2019, and the building complies with a number of environmental requirements.
The property complex of almost 6000m² located in Mulhouse is today made up as follows:
- A place of worship covering 1699m², made up of two large prayer rooms that can accommodate more than 2300 faithful
- A cultural centre covering 829m² which contains a multi-purpose hall, exhibition space and a library/ media library
- A teaching area covering 1297m² which is made up of 11 classrooms, a games library, an IT room and offices for the centre’s managers and teaching
- A health and wellness centre covering 1088m² containing a swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, hammam and SPA;
- A funerary space covering 202m²; and
- Commercial premises made up of a convenience store (454m²), a restaurant (80m²), a tearoom (76m²), a professional kitchen (75m²) and a beauty salon (approximately 70m²) which provide the centre with income to supplement its budget.
The centre employees 1 member of staff and achieved turnover of 116, 000 Euros in 2022.
Having been placed into reorganization proceeding, SCI Confluence is now looking for a buyer for the property assets in which the centre is housed. A call for tender has therefore been issued by its court-appointed receiver and a deadline for offers has been set at 4 p.m. on Monday July 1st, 2024.
