An industrial Start-up specialising in automation and robotics, MS-Innov creates turnkey solutions that are designed and made in France. These solutions provide a unique, customized solution for industrial businesses looking to automate production. Placed into receivership, the company, which has a strong potential for development, is looking for investors to finalize a round of funding alongside its longstanding shareholders.
Founded in 2015 by Julien Morel in Belfort, the French company MS-Innov has become a leader in the industrial sector, following five years of research and development, thanks to its robotic arm solutions.
MS-Innov, a start-up specialising in the automation of industrial processes
Based on the desire to widen access to new technologies in industry, MS-Innov specialises in the automation of industrial processes, notably CNC (lathes and milling) machine loading and unloading, through the provision of turnkey solutions. The company’s approach is to improve agility and company performance with the use of advanced technology that is accessible and easy to use.
The solutions offered by MS-Innov have been designed to meet a business’s fundamental needs in terms of productivity, reliability, and human resource management. The company’s automated systems enable businesses :
- to increase production efficiency by optimizing processes and reducing down time;
- to reduce human error in order to guarantee quality and increased production reliability;
- to free up operators’ time by releasing them from repetitive tasks;
- to ensure operational continuity in the face of the risks inherent to recruitment and absenteeism, thereby offering predictable stability.
MORFOSE: a revolutionary robot that offers modularity, infinite rotational capability, and programming capacity
Developed in 2019, MORFOSE represents a major innovation in the field of industrial robotics. Its software enables significant cost reductions in research and integration thanks to a conversational solution that, once the solution has been deployed, offers customers the possibility to create an entire programme themselves. This sets it apart from its competitors, whose solutions require an integrator to develop a programme for each part, or which necessitate in-house programming skills; this is innovation that ensures attractive economic positioning for its end customers.
Its modularity means that the product is capable of evolving over time whilst ensuring the solution remains available, regardless of the uncertainties that a business employing automated solutions might face. This modularity has been designed to ensure customer autonomy in all servicing and repair operations, with a standard module exchange option to limit service costs. Further, these operations are simple to carry out and require no particular skills in automation or robotics.
The final feature, a world first, is the infinite rotational capacity of each axis which optimises cycle times; in the meantime its competitors are limited by wireline solutions. This also allows the robot modules to be used in different ways and for a variety of applications. Indeed, it enables remote modules to be synchronised easily with the robot, linked scatter plates for example, which allows complex operations to be carried out, in particular in the areas of welding or inspection.
Officially marketed in 2024, MORFOSE can be adapted to users’ needs and is piloted through an intuitive software programme, making it universally accessible for use.
Designed and made in France, MS-Innov’s turnkey solutions provide a tailored response to industrials and machine operators looking to automate their production.
With its innovative technology, a stock of finished products with a market value of 2 M€, and significant commercial opportunities identified for the purchase of its machine loading and unloading kits, the company has strong development potential.
In order to complete its fundraising of 2 M€, the company is looking for 600 000 € in financing to finalize this round of funding, to which its longstanding shareholders have pledged the amount of 1.4M€.
